Car companies love to sponsor awesome events (take a look at the awesome stuff Scion has been doing over the past two years) and Kia is now jumping into the game in Boston. Start tomorrow, October 15th, the Artists for Humanity Center in the South End will be host to music, refreshments, and food for the weekend. You can RSVP for the free kick-off party right
here, featuring complimentary beer and wine, a DJ set by Red Foxxx, and a live set by Cymbals Eat Guitars. On Thursday, Friday, and Saturday the center will be open all day long for test drives but you will have to wait until around 6pm for the live performances. To be able to attend Sunday night's show, you must test drive a Kia at the event sometime prior to receive your tickets. As for the lineup itself, its formidable enough to probably take up three nights at the Bowery Ballroom, and being a free event, is definitely something you shouldn't miss!
Tonight's event will run from 7:30-10pm.
Here's a breakdown of the entire lineup for the rest of the weekend:
Thursday Oct 15 - Cymbals Eat Guitars (8pm) - DJ set by Red Foxxx
Friday Oct 16 - Here We Go Magic (6:30pm), White Rabbits (7:15pm) - DJ Sets by Brek. One, Ghostdad, Mistaker
Saturday Oct 17 - Boy Crisis (6pm), The Antlers (7pm) - DJ sets by The Knife, Bladerunners, Harmeet
Sunday Oct 18 - The Pains of Being Pure at Heart - DJ sets by Mistaker, Brek. One
