Last weekend Dinosaur Jr. played a 2-night mini-residency at the Middle East Downstairs but we hadn't had a chance to post Tim's photos from that night yet, so I'm catching up with the week just now. While on the topic of mini-residencies at the Middle East, tonight marks the first of Built To Spill's three shows there this weekend. Disco Doom and Violent Soho open up the first two nights with Pretty and Nice filling in for Violent Soho for Sunday's show. I'm pretty sure its the first time that the super-guitar-pop band Pretty and Nice will be playing a venue as big as this and I'm excited to see what they do with it.
