If you're down with circuit bending and messing with APIs, then you will be in heaven this weekend. Music Hack Day will be kicking off a weekend (Nov 21-22) full of software, hardware, art, and web lectures that all relate to "build[ing] the next generation of music applications." The conference will be taking place at Microsoft's NERD compound (the New England Research and Development office to be specific) over in Cambridge and registration, scheduling information and a whole lot more can be found over at http://Boston.MusicHackDay.org.
Also on Saturday night the conference is sponsoring a killer show over at Johnny D's in Davis Square (Somerville) featuring local acts Faces on Film, Bodega Girls, and headlining guest El-P.
