Rock Shop #1 at The Middle East Tonight

Pirate Promotion and Management is co-sponsoring a night of "talk" about the music industry--particularly SXSW--tonight at The Middle East in Cambridge. The event will be useful to any artists going to SXSW for the first time, or to those who would like to gain more from the festival. All SXSW enthusiasts are welcome.

The event is the first of The Middle East's Rock Shop series, which will help artists in Boston get to know more about the inner-workings of the industry.  Presenting tonight will be Kevin Hoskins from the Middle East, John Hammond from The Musebox, and Steve Theo from Pirate.

The event will begin at 7 p.m. and will consist of a presentation and a Q&A session.
