Still unsure about what to do for your celebration into 2010? Some of On A Friday's friends are playing shows on December 30 and 31. For those of you in Boston, here's what we recommend:
December 30: Bodega Girls are throwing a "Lo-Fi Hedonistic Dance Party" at Middlesex Lounge in Cambridge with the band Mystery Roar and the DJs Mac Machine and KingEvrock. The show starts at 9 and goes til close, 2 a.m. Check out the Facebook event here.
December 31: Earthquake Party!, Magic Magic, You Can Be A Wesley, and Mean Creek are all getting together at Great Scott in Allston to bring you a New Year's bash. The show starts at 9 p.m. See the event on Facebook here.
December 31: Thunderdome is bringing you an all-night dance party at Villa Victoria. The event will host DJs Mistaker, Redfoxx, and David Day with visuals from Robotkid and Matt Boch. And of course, there will be a photobooth involved. The price is $25, but you get $5 off if you dress up.

Dinosaur Jr. play their first of two sold out shows at the Middle East downstairs tonight. Lou Barlow + themissingmen open up both nights.
Finally if you're looking for some quasi-relaxing late night entertainment you can go see the midnight showing of Halloween at the Coolidge Corner tonight. Next Friday they'll be showing Army Of Darkness as part of the same series.
Often compared to the early, experimental recordings of the Beatles and Beach Boys, Circulatory System's haunting distortions and lackadaisical delivery mark a departure from OTC's poppish-sound towards darker, more melody-driven tunes. Opening up will be fellow E6 bands Pipes You See, Pipes You Don't and Nesey Gallons.
Tickets are still on sale for the 185-seat Victorian style theatre.
