An impressive range of talent treaded the boards at TT's in Cambridge on Wednesday night. The lyrical wit of veteran performer, David Dondero, the continued success of local favorites, Mean Creek, and a coming out party for a rejuvenated, The Love Language, were all displayed at times last night.
Canadian-born, electro-funk duo Chromeo will be coming to Boston July 30 to promote the release of their third studio album, "Business Casual." The pop duo are known for their groovy dance moves and the tasteful way they weave humor into their music. Dance bands Neon Indian and Telephoned are opening for the Boston show.I was able to chat with P-Thugg while the guys were touring through Serbia. We talked about music, dancing, and "being cool."

Words by Joseph RansomSan Diego three-piece Wavves brought their distorted beach punk sound to Great Scott Tuesday night. The gig marked the band's first show of their US tour, giving the Allston crowd an early chance to hear material from the forthcoming album King of the Beach (due out August 6).
